Receiving blankets?

Do you have to buy them and bring them to the hospital with you or do they just give you one from the hospital? (Trying to get my hospital bag ready)😊

I was given one at the hospital that was able to take home it had little bears on it. But there was other plain white ones that I was able to use while I was there.

They give you one but I would  bring one for when  you go home. They let me take everything but the blanket.

Here on Long Island we don't take receiving blankets so I brought one for going home but used hospitals while I was there

They give you a ton. No need to buy them unless you want cute ones. I never used mine

They'll give em to you. I had a bunch from the hospital but I also brought my own because I didn't know if I need them but my hospital gave me everything but a car seat... I even got a diaper bag formula nipples bobo hat diapers and the blankets
