Menstrual Cups (¿?)

Question

I have to get away from tampons... They dry me out (TMI) and never keep my period contained like they're supposed to (super TMI). Has anyone used menstrual cups? LadyCups, Instead Disposables, or DivaCups maybe? Reviews please! Thank you!

I just got a Diva Cup and got to use it for the first time last week. I agree that there is a learning curve and you have to be comfortable with yourself, but tampons never worked for me and I was so sick of wearing pads. It was amazing! I would suggest wearing backup pads while still figuring it out, but I say give it a try! The Diva Cup is seriously one of the best purchases I've ever made.

I've been using a lunette cup since December and I'm never going back to tampons. I love that I don't have to worry about leaks or having to empty it all the time. That being said, there was a learning curve to it. I had to get real comfortable with my body to figure out how to best fit it and make sure that it opened.

Diva cup all the way. Just learn to fold it so you don't leak & make sure you use the correct soaps.

Tried Softcups for the first time today and so far I love it. Removal, although still kind of gross, wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be and still less disgusting than removing a tampon. Softcups are not reusable. And from a lot of the reviews I've read, reusable cups like Diva cup and Duchess cup offer a better seal and protection. If that's the case, I will be trying those next cycle. Tampons are definitely history at my house.

Absolutely LOVE my Yuuki cup. I have 2 Yuuki and one Lunette but prefer the stiff Yuuki as its easier to insert (like, you bare down with your pelvic muscles when you're pushing it further up and the stiffness of the cup makes it a lot easier for me.)

I will never go back to tampons. Waste of money, time and landfill.
