What is your biggest fear?

Whether it's your first or your 12th, what's is your biggest fear as a plus size pregnant mom?

I'm not really scared about a miscarriage, but it's in my head because we all know it's always a possibility, especially early on.

With DS I carried him inside a lot of that makes sense, and I never felt I truly "popped," and got a cute preggo belly. I hope that happens this time. But this is a whole better/happier situation and I will dress to accentuate any baby belly I've got.

And I wouldn't say it's a fear, necessarily, but I really don't want to weigh more than I do now. Beginning at the end of June I started really focusing on being healthier and losing weight. In 2003 I was 182 when I got pregnant with DS and I felt so fat then. Delivered at 205. I went way up, then got myself to around 200 again in 2010-2012 after my mom passed in 2010. Met DH in 2012 and we happily gained weight together unaware. Last summer I started Weight Watchers and dropped from 237 to 224 and was 228 at our wedding in October 2014. I was so proud of myself. Since then I've stopped WW and put the weight back on. The last couple of weeks I go between 239-240. I will keep walking every day. I like the commitment I've made to myself. First is small at walking 50 miles in July. I was holding off on starting Weight Watchers again to know if I was expecting. I'm so totally happy that I'm pregnant, but not happy that I feel fat and am not sure I can really get back down. I'll definitely keep trying and probably rejoin WW as soon as I can.

I'm worried about gestational diabetes and preeclampsia :( hoping to lose a lot of weight this time for the first 2 trimesters but I just can't stop eating sweets!!

My biggest fear in general is miscarriage. But assuming that doesn't happen, I'm worried about gaining too much weight, and of the risks that go along with that (high blood pressure, gestational diabetes, etc). I gained a LOT really fast at the end of my first pregnancy and it was so hard to lose (still 15 lbs heavier than I was before my last pregnancy). This is going to be my last pregnancy and I really want to enjoy it!

I'm worried that ill get preeclampsia again, my dd was born at 30 weeks 2lbs 5 oz and she was in the nicu for 6 weeks. I didn't get to breastfeed and it was just a very scary time. My situation is very different this time around I am remarried and I am staying home this time around but I still worry that my BP will shoot up like it did before (200/110) it was pretty bad! But also now I'm 197 and only 5'0...so just very worried ughhhh

Miscarriage is the number one and I think I also fear complications leading to bed rest or that take me out of work too soon, we are young and poor and need this time to work and save.

So my biggest fear is gaining too much weight during this pregnancy. When I had my DS in 2004 I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes it went away and then in 2007 I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and then I found out in 2010 I was pregnant with my second DS and I was at my highest weight ever. I was almost 300lbs and that was a scary time for me because my diabetes was out of control even with me on insulin because I was still being hard headed but I still ended up giving birth to a healthy 7lb 2oz baby boy but this time around it's a lot different my weight has come down about 50-60 pounds and my diabetes is way under control with insulin and a healthy diet. Having diabetes is a struggle but it's an even harder struggle when your pregnant because you have 2 people you have to make sure are okay so I need all the support I can get with this but my husband has been my biggest support system I so love him.

Miscarriage is my biggest fear. I'm 240 and have PCOS and was just in the hospital last part of June for renal failure due to a severe UTI. I was pregnant then and didn't know it and it was too early to show up on a test. I just lost my mom June 10th to lung cancer and now I'm a single mom going to face some ugly court stuff before the baby's here I bet. I'm just worried with everything combined that my body is just going to reject the baby and terminate. My first pregnancy was stressful but not nearly this bad. And even though this app said stress has no affect on the baby, I beg to differ. But in general, I'm just worried about miscarriage.

I'm bigger today that I have ever been during any point in my life - my biggest fear was being discriminated against or looked down upon because of my size, however I faced tht demon head on yesterday when the Dr refused to accept me as a patient due to my weight. I have a feeling this will be the hardest pregnancy emotionally and mentally that I've ever experienced.

I'm 60+lbs heavier with this pregnancy than I was with my other two. I'm 10 weeks and they are already having me take a glucose tolerance test on Thursday cause my first blood drawn was borderline. My first two pregnancies I was about 190-195 when I got pregnant. I was 265 when I got pregnant with #3. After I had #2 I had postpartum depression and gained 50lbs after I had my son. I had loss about 20lbs of it before I got pregnant but no where near where I was before. I have a bad hip and back and I'm worried having the extra weight and being pregnant is gonna be a big strain on them! I'm also worried I'm not gonna show. That's always been my fear... Being 9 months pregnant and just looking fat. With my first two when I was 40+ weeks I looked like I was only 6 months pregnant and I was 225-230lbs when I delivered.
