Midwife plus OBGyn??
Hi everyone,
I'm alittle confused about the process of selecting a midwife and OBGyn.
I had my first baby in late 2013 and just went with an OBGyn as I didn't really know any different. This time, I'd like to have someone more 'present', whilst still supportive of vaginal birth.
I had gestational diabetes with my first so I'm expecting to have it again.
So I'm asking how do I go about finding a midwife that co manages with a OBGYN? Who do I contact first? Or do I look for a hospital first? Has anyone else used both before, with ease and success?
