OB vs Midwife?

Im having a very hard time deciding between a midwife and an OB/GYN. I have two kid and had OB for both. My experiance wasn't bad but it was stressfull and fast and sooo many people in the room. I felt rushed by staff at the hospital and i just want to be relaxed and enjoy my birth experience. BTW im 9 weeks. Any advice?

Go with a midwife this time.

Midwife. They are far more caring and supportive. You are way less likely to get an episiotomy or an epidural, which is a good thing.

Last time I was pregnant An OB was my only option.
Sounds like midwives are far more involved.

When I was 6 weeks I had one appointment with an OB. I was sick with a stomach virus (didn't know that was the cause at the time) and throwing up blood so I was freaking out. They wanted to schedule an appointment 2 weeks from the first time I called. It took some major arguing to get a sooner appointment and when I finally did I waited for 2 hours to see the doctor for about 10 minutes. She was pretty rude and short with me the whole time. I switched to a midwife that same day and absolutely love her. At my first appointment she gave me her cell phone number and said I can call any time with any concerns. Even on days when her office is closed she will meet with her patients if she feels its necessary. Midwives are definitely the way to go!

I would choose midwife. If your pregnancy becomes high risk you will be switched to an obgyn.

I've had a OBGYN and a midwife, both were wonderful. I prefer the midwife because I feel I get more one on one time and less medical stuff.

The office I go to has both and you see all throughout your pregnancy. When it's time for baby whoever is on call is who delivers for you. If you have complications then the on call doctor is called :)
