What all do you really need for baby ?any know of a good checklist ?

Looking for all the basic things I need so I don't miss anything its my first

I loved my mombo. It's a nursing pillow. I didn't nurse but it was a great support for the baby when sitting or lying down. I also loved my wubbanub. It's a paci with an animal attached. A lot harder to lose and my son loved to rub his monkeys foot on his face as he fell asleep. Both are in the picture

My infant must haves: 
Crib
Swing
Blankets (we always use these as burp rags but if you want dedicated burp rags go with cheap cloth diapers! They work great!) 
Onesies
Wraps/stroller
Car seat
Lots and lots of wipes
Swaddlers (they are awesome!) 
Socks for their feet if your due when it's a little cooler
Manicure set with a nose sucker, brush and thermometer
Lotion
Baby wash
Hooded towels and wash cloths
At least 3 crib sheets! Babies are messy little creatures!

I think that's it for my must have list. Everything else is just icing on the cake 😊

Rock n play is a must imo! I watch babies for a living and all four infants (6m-11m) sleep in one with me present in the room!!

There are lots of lists online, but a lot of them include excessive stuff that you do not need. I would just get the basics and then if you think you need extras (like a Pack n' Play) then get them later. All you really need is a crib (unless you plan to co-sleep), a car seat, a high chair (although I know a mom with two kids who never used one), clothing, diapers (cloth will save you money in the long run), and either a stroller or a baby carrier -- or both. I use wraps to carry my son and have never had a stroller. It all depends on your style.
