Do you think electronic models are always necessary/a improvement?

So here's some things I found out could be hacked into today.

1. Smart TVs. This one's easy to fathom, as it's basically a extra wide screen computer. Malicious code is introduced via the Internet and can comprise your files just like any computer/phone. Camera tvs or attachments are vulnerable as well.

2. Electric toilets. No joke. Smart toilets can be activated to do things like flush or open/close the lid constantly, and spray water with the bidet wand. (Don't piss off the neighbor kid!)

3. Printers. This is the wifi models. Apparently, it's fun to insert malicious code that force the device to over heat and damage itself. (Damn, that neighbors kid.)

4. Car keys/ignitions. These are the vehicles with ignition starting options on the dash (keyless cars), or via the remote keychain device. People can get into the car and start it. (Bye, car!)

5. ATMs. Most ATMs run on windows XP (so we're screwed from the get go) Microsoft has moved on to better systems, and like all outdated software, XP ATMs don't get the security updates they need to combate new methods of hacking. The banks just don't want to shell out the dough to update their machines.

6. Smart refrigerators. Again, not kidding. Apparently hacking occurs here a lot because owners leave security at default settings. Botnets can be implanted and damage the fridge, meanwhile owners have no idea what's wrong.

7. Baby monitors. Again, this usually happens because owners leave default settings or just just don't set passwords. Some models output signal constantly, so anyone in rage can spy on the room from audio/video.

8. Car breaks. Yes, car breaks. Manufacturers are updating them and they can be hacked. Which means the driver faces the car being immobile or not working when you are mobile. Even at separate axels, so someone could direct your movement.

9. Traffic lights. I think a lot of us might remember the app for this a few years ago.

10. Medical implants. These devices use radio waves or other wireless signals to "speak" to computers when needed, and they have basically no security. That means easily exploited, and tests show they are easy to turn off. Someone can kill you without touching you in a whole new way. They are just recently trying to fabricate new ways to prevent this.

So how do you feel about eveything switching to electric?
