When did your baby start

paying attention to the TV or watching tv ? My baby turned 2 1/2 months today and we've noticed that lately when were holding her in front of the tv she will watch

I would be a little but careful with letting a young child watch television. Studies show the first 2 years are really important for eye development and it's not good to let them stare at any screen for too long because it's not working their lens.

I'm sure the small amount your little one is watching right now isn't an issue though! 😄

I run a daycare and I had one who was 6 months and would sit thru Frozen, Rio 2, & the Croods. I didn't think it was good for her and didn't let her but her mother did. Even had a DVD player in her car for the baby. Which is ridiculous.

They'll start noticing/paying attention early but that doesn't mean you should let them watch. My son is almost 3 and now has way too much screen time but we did none to very little until 2 years and then slowly let him watch.

My first watched from a super early age, my second is 1 1/2 and is not interested in the least
