TTC after D&C

Hi! So I had a D&C done in May this year at 9 weeks due to a blighted ovum. Gynae said my husband and I could start TTC straight away but I've heard some people saying they had to wait for atleast a 3month cycle before TTC. I've only had 1 cycle so far - any advice?
