ok so the name im in love with all my family hate so come up with another but not sure it stands alone as a name so do i change the one i love or ignore everyone else ?

Ignore everyone else. It's your baby, you should name her however you want. My family and my in-laws didn't like the name my hubby and I picked for our little girl. But you know what? We told them, too bad. They had a chance when naming us as kids, now it is our turn. You can't make everyone happy. :)

what if u give her a name that Polly is a nickname for? I don't think u should worry about pleasing family, and maybe just don't tell anyone once u decide for sure until after baby comes to discourage bad comments...like Pollyanna, Paulina, Paulette, pauleen, Palila, Palomina, Paula..

I mean unless there is an actual reason to not use it (I.e. I suggested a middle name that ended up being my dad's ex wife's - whom I've never met - so it was immediately thrown out)
