I only had 1 dose of Depo-Provera, and we are now trying to get pregnant. How long after the shot did it take for you to get your period? Comment with how many doses or years you were on the shot.

I was on the shot 1.5 years, had my last one April of 14 and got my first period (not induced) in November of 14. I believe I finally ovulated for the first time since just a couple days ago. So it took 4 months since my depo "ran out" to get a period and a year since it "ran out" to ovulate.

I was on Depo for two years, Mirena for three, and Depo, again, for three. My last shot ended March 21 and I started my period the next day. My cycles have been all over the places though. I haven’t had a consistent one yet. I also had a month and a half starting, in June, where I had a period every other week.

I was on depo for 4 years, i usually start spotting around the time my shot was due, so every 3 months, but since i didnt go back an get my shot this past march, 15 i started my period but it was coming every 10-15 days, soI started  fertilaid exactly 3 weeks ago and this past month it jumped my cycle up to 25 days, if you are TTC after depo i recommend taking supplements of somesort in order to jumpstart the regulating an conception process!
