Finished washing a quick load and came back to my whole kitchen/laundry room flooded. I panicked, grabbed every item of clothing, towels, paper towels and rags that I could grab. I moved the washer and dryer to clean water underneath them...I'm terrified the downstairs neighbors are going to come knocking.

I moved in three days ago, these are washer and dryers supplied by the apartment. I have renters insurance but am I liable if it leaked downstairs? I'm so scared I ruined the downstairs neighbors ceiling!
