I've had what I was told by 2 doctors over the last year and a half that I have a boil on the inside of my left butt cheek. They both assured me it would just heal on its own. Now after doing much research I have come to the conclusion that it isn't a boil and it is an anal abscess that I believe has caused a small fistula. It doesn't cause me any pain except when the abscess swells up, after it pops it usually feels "better" for the most part. I am worried about this causing harm to my baby (I am 13 weeks pregnant) I see my Dr on Tuesday so I will definitely be bringing it up. I am just wondering if anyone has any info on this? Will it cause my baby harm and also will I be able to have a natural vaginal delivery? Will I have to have surgery or what!?! Any input is appreciated.
