Moving fast or no ?

I got pregnant back in September 2014 and had my son may 31 2015 . Me and my boyfriend have been dating for almost 1 year 1/2 but I've known him for 3 years total  . He's working overtime to provide a roof over our heads and we've discussed even getting married . Would it be too fast to go to the court house and elope ? Or should I wait till he proposes and it actually be special ?

My husband and I eloped and had a courthouse wedding 2 and a half months after we started dating. Most people think I'm crazy but the truth is... I knew he was what I wanted. I don't regret having a courthouse wedding and I was glad it was only 2 witnesses(whom I don't talk to anymore ). I had hell to deal with my family saying I was stupid and that I needed to grow up...but it's all better now. 4 years down....a lifetime to go. 💝

I think you have a child and if you want the marriage too do it! You can always have the bigger wedding and renew your vows in a year or 5 years or whenever if you want to do that. If it's true love you won't regret it.

Totally up to you guys!!! I think either way would be special. My husband and I wanted to go to the courthouse to get married after 4 months of dating. But my mom talked me out of it. Said I would regret not having a big wedding with all my friends and family there. So a year later we got engaged and a year and a half after that we got married. Loved my wedding. Loved having everyone there. And I loved my dress. I don't regret doing it that way, but I also don't think I would have regretted going to the courthouse either. It would be a special moment for just the two of you. A wedding is just a wedding. It happens and then it's over. Marriage is a life time, that is the important part. Good luck to both of you!

I eloped at the court house it was cheaper...but we plan on having a bigger wedding one day when we can afford it :) so y'all can do that just till' you can afford a big one that way you can be married and he doesn't feel pressure to work harder for more money when he is already doing over time :)
