Too swollen?

Question

I'm only 8 weeks.  Is this bad?  I was on a long car ride and walked a lot yesterday.  Please advise... Thanks!!

After my last road trip I suffered from high dehydration and ended up in the er with a miagrane that changed my vision(scary). Take your blood pressure
drink plenty of water today
Get your feet above your heart every 3hrs for 20 min
If anything is high or persists call your doc or go to the er.

And next road trip sit in the back with your feet up

Wow! Mine were a bit more extreme.  But my body was trying to hold on to the fluid it did have. So on the 4th, I ended up in ER. Please do be careful.  I was dehydrated really bad and because I work on my feet, that's why they swoll like that. My hands even got bad too. I am only 9wks,  and 2 days now. So it was early on as well. Thanks for sharing.

My gosh! I would go to the ER. That looks extreme. I think preeclampsia doesn't develop until later in the pregnancy. Definitely watch the salt intake. Drink lots of water (I drink at least 1 gallon per day). Good luck!

I did that with my second. Cut down on sodium and drink a lot more water, fruit, veggies, stuff that has a high water ratio. Pay attention to how much salt is in the foods you're eating. And mention it to your dr because *sometimes* swelling can indicate other things. I personally just had a LOT of water retention my entire pregnancy.
