Is irritate me when i call my daughter and she answer me Yes! without saying Mom i mean "Yes mom" I lost count of the times I've corrected her and she still not listen. what should i do guys? just let her be or spanking her ???

If you think saying "yes" instead of "yes mom" is a spankworthy offense, you need help. And I'm pro-spranking. This is so not even an issue.

I think as long as she isn't being rude in tone or desrespectful in the way she says yes then it doesn't matter if she says yes mom. She is at least acknowledging you and responding. At least that's my opinion.

I have trouble imagining this to be a battle I would choose to fight. There are so many more conflicts that are so much more important in developing a strong and respectful child.

I wouldn't spank her for that. I grew up saying "yes" I only was redirected if I said "what" and it wasn't with a spanking. I say just redirect her constantly.

That seems like a silly reason to spank your child. I guess is she replied rudely then you could get upset, but I would not pick a battle over something so trivial.

Just correct her if it really bothers you. I know when I answer my phone I don't look who is calling. Maybe she is the same way or just doesn't realise who is calling. Don't spank her at least she is answering her phone and not saying what in a rude tone. Let her know it does bother you like in person or ask why she just answers with yes.

I was taught yes ma'am... My mom got on me a lot about that when I was little and it has stuck with me. I catch myself at work saying yes ma'am to people the same age as me. But I have always be told how respectful I was as a child and it has gotten me very far in life. I would keep at it
