BBT- does anyone else have a chart of temps that are all over the place?? This doesn't help me at all! Glad I've been using OPK's too because otherwise I'd have no clue when I ovulate.

I was confused by temping at first too. There are a few details that are important. First, always take your temperature at the same time every morning. As long as you are sitting a half hour you should be fine. I take my temp every morning at 6am. O set my alarm and then lay my thermometer on top of my phone so when I wake up I remember to take it. Second, take your temperature before getting up. Don't get up to pre and then take your temp, this will change your temp dramatically. I wake up, turn off the alarm and put the thermometer in my mouth. Once I get my temp I record it in glow and then go on with my day. Third, never temp unless you have had at least 6 consecutive hours of sleep. This is the time it takes for your body to cool down completely and reach your basal temperature. Of you have insomnia or never get at least 6 consecutive hours, then I would consider taking a sleep aid or just know that your temps will run higher than usual. Always use a bbt thermometer. A regular one won't be as precise. Also there are many reasons your chart could be so spikey. I discovered my temps were off due to a hormone imbalance. Of you do everything right and your temps still seem skewed then I would suggest seeing a gynecologist to have your hormone levels checked.

You should try googling bbt temps and it will show you a whole bunch. If younude fertility friend they give you cross hairs to take the guessing out of if you ovulated or not

Mine are too... It's  crazy. Have you tried taking your temp at the same time every morning? I think if we don't it throws it off a bit.
