Bloody Show

Last night and this morning I had mucousy blood and my toilet paper looked like the first day of my period. I had back contractions yesterday too. Today after I saw more blood I called my ob who didn't seem concerned because I'm 36 weeks. I'm not mad but my baby is breech and with my last pregnancy my water broke at 36 weeks. I'm more worried about infection and am looking for suggestions if you've been through similar or what you would do. I mean from what I understand the blood in the mucus means that membranes are stripping correct? Thanks very much
