Does sex really induce delivery?

38+5 weeks,  babies been in position, my belly is steadily getting bigger and bigger, so ready, but nothinh, no contractions, bloody show, no nothing.  Is it true that sex can send you into labor?

Nope. I'm currently 40 weeks, 2 days today & no sign of labor anytime soon. If I don't have baby boy before the 17th, then my doctor is inducing me that day (17th)

Had sex in the morning and then started contractions late afternoon.  We timed them and it went on for about 4 hours. The doc said if they weren't increasing in intensity then to stay home and get some rest. All that excitement for nothing! We will probably try sex again though!
