Please help me

I was friends with benefits with this guy... never was in a relationship with him or anything ... I caught feelings for his close friend ... his friend has been there for me more then anybody else has ever been in my life .. I can actually see myself having a future with him.. which is crazy because I've never been able to do that .... I need advice please
