Discouraged.
So, let's start from the beginning..
I went to the doctor as soon as I wasn't able to conceive on my own for almost a year. The doctor wanted me to have a cycle and have my blood drawn to see if I was ovulating, which I wasn't. She then put me on clomid. I took clomid for 5 months before I decided to go ahead and have an HSG done to rule this out. My HSG came back clear. No blockage what so ever. This was done after my cycle this last may. I did not have a period the whole month of June. Called my doctor and told her I took an HPT and it was negative. She then told me she wanted me to take provera to induce my next period. I took about 7 days and started my cycle on the 3rd of July. I just finished my last round of clomid last Saturday and took opk's both 7/12 and 7/13 which came back positive. Then, I was told by someone on here that clomid can give you a false reading on opk's. ..
I'm beginning to get so discouraged because now I don't really know when I'm going to ovulate this month. I have taken now 6 months of clomid and have still not gotten pregnant. The only benefit to me being on clomid so far is that it has regulated my cycle almost to a T (except for my cycle after HSG) and that it is in fact making me ovulate. But how do I know for sure if it's making me ovulate if it will give me false positives.
So close to throwing my hands up...
