Benefits through the state?

I once recently heard that someone had insurance through the state and it covered IUI's, Clomid, blood work, ultrasounds and trigger shots...
Is this true?

I'm in SC as well, although I was under the impression that our state employee benefits was 70% and 15,000 max.  Also-- if you get to IVF be careful.  Insurance may cover certain parts but not all parts of the procedure.  Best thing to do is talk with the financial people in your dr office or clinic.  They can usually give you a true breakdown of what treatments and tests actually cost.

I'm sure it would depend on which state. Some states even require all insurance to help with IVF

I'm sure it depends on what state. Are you a state employee? I'm a state employee in PA and I'm pretty sure it doesn't cover any part of it.

I  am a teacher in SC amd have state insurance. Ours covers fertility testing and treatments at 80% up to $16,000 lifetime maximum.
