Late period or Pregnant ???

I recently had a D&C in June 17. Since then my husband and I have been ttc.  Is it possible i can be pregnant? Or is my period just late?  Is it too soon to check?

After miscarriage it takes up to 8 weeks to have a period Again

Hard to know for sure. Even if you test now you may get a false positive if you still have any leftover hcg in your system from the first pregnancy. I had a d&c on 6/30 and am still getting faint lines on cheapie tests so I'm not expecting AF for a while.
