Calories while pregnant?!

I've been eating 1700 calories (tracked with myfitnesspal) since I've found out I'm pregnant. I used to eat 1200 a day previously but I was also a gym addict and ate only lean protein and veggies. I know you are supposed to "eat 200-300 more than what you normally eat" but I ate far under what was considered average. How many do you think is healthy if I want to maintain/lose weight while pregnant?
