I'm a type 1 diabetic, have been for 7 years. My husband and I are trying for out first. I'm really nervous about the pregnancy and chances of my child having issues. Does anyone have any success stories or is anyone going through the same thing? I really need some positive thoughts sent my way! I had an appointment with my obgyn and she told me that she would not be able to work with me once i got pregnant and she would have to refer me to someone else. I would really just like to hear some success stories from other type 1 ladies out there.
