GD question

I'm from uk so results will be differently read. So consultant is admiment I have GD as I have PCoS plus both parents type ones- anyway had two GTT tests one result came back 4.4 & 5.2 perfect second one came back as 4.4 &6.6 again perfect little ones abdomin is on 95th percental and consultant says the only course for a larger abdomin is that mum has GD but my results say other wise. Me and husband have both asked numerous times is it that she's just going to have a larger belly and consultant replies no. Now I'm confused can anyone give me some light to the situation?
