I've seen documentaries and read articles that demonstrate that the way birth control pills work is by inhibiting the ovule to complete its cycle which can lead to future problems

I was admitted into the ICU for multiple pulmonary embolisms that were the result of my birth control pills... I wasn't a smoker, either. They have their harmful side effects, just like any other medication.

I've wondered about birth control. I personally have never been on it. Kind of crazy, I know, but I never felt I needed it. I wasn't very sexually active before marriage and now that I am married, we just decided there was no need because we wanted kids at some point. Anyway, we got pregnant immediately when we didn't use protection, but who knows if that is at all related to not using birth control. But I do look at my sisters, who both have been on birth control in the past, and neither they, nor their husbands have health issues, but yet it took a long time for their pregnancies. I am cursious to know if there is any correlation btwn BC and conceiving.

I was on BC for about 8 years and I got pregnant the first time, in spite of a diagnosis of PCOS. I know that isn't everyone's experience but it doesn't impact some people.
