Placental Lakes????

Question

I went in for an ultrasound and they found placental lakes... I looked it up and it's maternal blood pooled up in/on the placenta. Should I be concerned? What if the baby kicks one of these "lakes" and causes a bleed?  Can that even happen? Should I be worried? 😳

I had an "unusual hemorrhage" that they said was a placental lake, 2 weeks later they did another ultrasound to check on it and it had gone away on its own.

Same thing happend to my at my first trimester screening complexly freaked me out! But at next ultrasound a few weeks later they were gone :) so don't worry! Even if your s don't go away I know someone who's kept on growing and she delivered a perfectly healthy baby!
