Had to go to the ER last night (very reluctantly because I did not want to leave my baby girl) for severe pain in my pelvis, lower abdomen, and back. They had to give me IV antibiotics and I'm on oral antibiotics now for endometritis (uterine infection). The doctor said he saw what he thought was a fragment of placenta in my uterus on ultrasound but was waiting for radiology to read it... Well I was sent home with orders to follow up with my OB or come back if it persists/worsens... Anybody else go through this? What was the outcome? I feel like I need to call my ON to ask if I need to get checked in case fragment is up there and infection continues... I'm postpartum day 14 now
