Is this the same amniotic sac?!

Idk if I've asked this before but I was just wondering if this looks like they share the same amniotic sac. I go Thursday to see if they happen to find a membrane and I'll be 12 weeks 1 day then. I'm really nervous about the type of twins I will have.

It's definitely identicals in the same gestational sac. But they could always have different amniotic sacs! That membrane between mono/di twins is super super thin and tiny! Hard to see, so wait until you go to a MFM they have more high tech equipment to tell if you have a membrane or not

I had this ultrasound last week, at 9w 5d and the techs were able to identify a very thin membrane between the twins... They told me that they could still potentially be fraternal, and that at my 12w ultrasound they will be able to distinguish more .... Neither seemed concerned at the time. Both babies were measuring the same size and right on, with healthy heart beats of 167 and 168.  Wishing you a happy healthy pregnancy.  I'm trying not to worry unless given reason to worry, trying to just embrace the face that there are two babies!

Could still be mono di twins - that membrane can be so thin. My mono di twins are coming out tomorrow via induction - we made it all the way to 37 weeks. Mono mono will have to come out sooner than that. Don't worry - it won't change the outcome in the end and perhaps just adds cortisol stress hormone to your body & babes. ;) I used my worry to focus on baby registries, product reviews & the nursery lol.

It looks like the same sac to me. With every pregnancy there can be complications and risks. Any time you are carrying more than one the risk goes up. I am carrying twins. They have their own sac and placenta but I am extremely high risk. My best advice to you is try not to worry about it so much. You don't need the extra stress. Just be happy about the babies and don't worry unless there comes a reason to.
