Obese 7w6d pregnant.

Amy • Single mommy to a handsome boy and currently expecting baby #2!
It's depressing but happy.I'm 26 years old. I'm 240 lbs and 7w6d pregnant. I am handicapped due to a genetic disorder called Familial Spastic Paraperisis or Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia. I can walk, but it's difficult after a bit. I have 1 son already and I weighed 220 before I had him, then shot up to 246 after. Now I'm 240 and deathly afraid of hitting over 250. I just can't. Please, if anyone out there, and I know there is, is pregnant and obese, can you post pics? I really feel alone in this. All I see are super skinny or a lil thick girls that are pregnant. No judgement here please!

I am 320 but I am almost six feet tall. Still, I'm so nervous about being pregnant at this size. I watched my sister give birth to my niece in January. Other than diabetes (which sh already had) she was pretty much fine. She gave a natural birth and my niece is a healthy six month old. DONT FRET MAMA! 😘

I know what you are saying, being pregnant and plus size is definitely not something that sits easy with me. I started this pregnancy weighing 260ibs. and at first I was terrified of gaining more that I already was! I am now 22 weeks pregnant and I have only gained 4ibs. My best advise to I is to just try and enjoy it! Don't eat for 2, make sure I walk and I think I will be fine. Still struggling with the way I look but every day it gets better! I hope it gets easier for you, and good luck!

I'm up to 267.. started at 255.. 28wks.. no shame as long as your healthy.. my blood pressure is good...no diabetes.. I've been eating how I normally eat and the baby is growing good.. don't stress the baby doesn't need it.. I plan to drop all of it when I'm done..

thank you! I'm trying to embrace this experience but sometimes it's hard! I'm done being ashamed of my tummy and I think is plus size girls should embrace it!

I'm at 33 weeks and 280 pounds AND I have lupus! you are NOT alone. I love my baby. I don't feel likeI have the "glow" that most pregnant women get lol but I'm okay with that. This broken body of mine has made a healthy baby. And I am beyond thrilled.

I'm 18w 2d and I just now started to "show". I've always had a big belly but it was evenly spaced, now it's to the point where I can't suck it in and all my fat down low is being pushed out. I'm 245lbs (and 5'2") and was 247lbs pre-pregnancy. I haven't thrown up or anything, just food aversions have made me lose my appetite so I'm kinda maintaining my weight. Don't worry so much :) I have been worrying since I was 4 weeks pregnant but as it goes along I realize I shouldn't worry. I mean we are bound to gain SOME weight (not everyone will) but think about the weight of the baby along with the placenta and what not. We will gain weight but in women our size 11-15 pounds is recommended. And that's the kind of weight that will come off about a month after having baby because most of it was pure baby weight. You'll be fine and plenty of us are on this journey with you. :)

I never had a weight problem until after I had my first. This pregnancy I weighed at first 220 now I'm 234. It's not a lot of weight gain compared to my first, but I try to watch what I eat and I walk a lot which helps. Since you can't really exercise with your condition I would just watch what you eat...don't eat for 2.  Good luck!

I weigh about 350 and I'm 6ft tall. 29 weeks. My pregnancy was a surprise and I always planned on getting more in shape before I planned on having a baby but so far I haven't had any complications. No diabetes no high blood pressure. I actually lost weight from throwing up during my first and second trimester so much. I was worried about the weight gain at first but now I'm just focused on giving birth to a healthy baby. Good luck sweetheart! ❤
