Our PHN recommended using ready feed or the liquid that you can add water to because they have far less risk of contamination and there's no way to keep the powder from potential contaminants. It could be baby is reacting to something the powder has been exposed to.

I had a similar issue with my first daughter. The pediatrician told me that for some babies it was easier to digest the ready to feed. So we stuck with the ready to feed until she was a few months old.

Are you warming up the powder? Sometimes that can help. Also, keeping your little one upright for 20-30 min after feeding + a firm patting sesson can help. If it keeps up maybe talk to your Ped about switching brands. Sometimes that's enough to make them happy.
