Any veterinarians or vet techs here?

I know this is completely unrelated to glow (I apologize for that), but I have Noone else to ask about this. I have a 7 month old german shepard/huskey mixed puppy, and she has been throwing up since I got her when she was 4 months old. I've ruled out worms, and parvo. I've tried changing her diet 3 times now. And she still continues to vomit. She's full of energy, and you would never guess anything is wrong by just looking at her, except that she's a little underweight from vomiting so much. She throws up once or twice a day, everyday. Sometimes up to 4 or 5 times. Anyways, does anyone have any idea what could be wrong with her? I've made her an appointment for Wednesday to be checked by a vet. But I really don't know what to expect when we get there. What kind of tests will they do on her? Should I expect to be paying a fortune? Thank you in advance

Always go to a vet. My great dane had problems to. With larger breed dogs it is recommend to have the food and and water bowl up off of the floor. Mine was swallowing to much air as she ate and drank. She had other problems to but it helped reduce the amount of air she swallowed

You have to take her to a vet, sorry if this seems harsh but that's one of the things you should consider before getting a pet - ensure you have enough money to be able to take good care of them. 
My ex bought a dog for £800 from a none reputable breeder, when he took it home it had diarrhoea and vomiting for days, he finally let me take it to the vets, cost me over £200. Turned out the breeder had really messed that poor dog up, my ex didn't do his research well and when I took the dog to the vets for the second time and told him it was going to cost £300 plus for the operation he dumped the dog on me, telling me to just 'give it away'. I couldn't do that obviously so I just gave HIM away. He was an absolute idiot, thought having a dog was going to be cheap and cheerful! I was at uni at the time and couldn't afford the dog because of vets bills, got myself into debts of over £1000 but finally found a lovely couple to help the dog continue to heal. From what I hear he's better now and living the life of Riley, except for needing medication every single day for the rest of his life.
Unfortunately some breeders aren't reputable, they put money before a dogs welfare and people who buy the pups aren't prepared to spend hundreds or thousands helping the dog to live.
Yes it may cost a lot of money when you take your pup to the vets, but that's something that you must have known about when you decided to get a dog, surely.

Can people stop attacking her, she said she just wanted to know what to expect because she HAS an appointment? I can see why she didn't think it was anything at first, when I got my pit he was having alot of diarrhea and it didn't alarm me because that's what worms can do I got him checked and he was fine but to answer your question it just depends on the vet, my vet office only charges a vet visit which is 50 bucks to diagnose problems.

Take it to the vet but it sounds like my Pitt Puppy. He swallowed a rock outside and threw up all the time after two days we took him to the vet and he said a buttermilk mixture would help. We tried it and he puked up the rock and was good

Yea id recommend taking your puppy to the vet vomiting everyday isnt good. It depends which hospital u go to bc evrry place is different but hopefully ur puppy gets better soon

Medical expenses are expensive. Doesn't differ from animals to humans. They are probably going to have to do some diagnostic tests to determine what's wrong, from bloodwork to X-rays, and it will be expensive.

It's a really delicate balance when you have an otherwise healthy pup who just wants to eat but can't keep it down. Even though she is now underweight, I'd recommend withholding food and water for at least 12 hours to give her tummy and esophagus time to heal. You can give her small amounts of water or ice cubes so she doesn't get too dehydrated. Then I'd recommend a bland diet of boiled chicken and rice, slowly mixing in her food over the next few days.

As for cost, that varies from vet to vet. You can be looking at anywhere from $200 - $1000, and that may end in them telling you they still don't know what is wrong.

What other symptoms does she have? Anything? As I mentioned in a different thread, she might just be eating too fast.

Sounds like she/he may have swallowed something, or maybe a type of respiratory issue? Those are just guesses though. So without actually knowing the issue, or vets office I have no idea on price. Maybe feel around her stomach and see if you feel hard lumps. You probably won't be able to, but on the off chance..

If they don't figure it out immediately, they might want x-rays. That cost about $40 at my step dads place, and I think it varies depending on the animals size. $40 was for my pomeranian, so small animal.
