Anyone else on progesterone?

Question

Had my first prenatal today and she put me on pro I'm assuming due to 2 miscarriages I've had and being followed closet due to that and a LEEP but she found a cycst on my right ovarie. I was so caught up in watching the screen n hearing the baby's heart beat I forgot to ask so maybe someone here will know.

Will the progesterone effect the cyst? If so how? (hopefully shrink it? 
its 6mm which she said is 2mm shy of being a problem, kinda worrying me now that I'm able to think clearly.)

I'm on progesterone after miscarrying in January at 10 weeks. My progesterone level wasn't tested until 8 weeks and it came back 5.3. I went on progesterone then but it was too late. Still unknown if I have low progesterone which caused miscarriage or if I had low progesterone because my body was trying to miscarry. My mother had 8 miscarriages, later it was found she also had low progesterone. I just found out Friday (17th) I'm pregnant. Started 200mg progesterone yesterday. Friday my progesterone was 9.3 and I'm still early. So fingers crossed!

I'm on progesterone twice a day due to two previous miscarriages. I am hoping it helps this time around!

I was put on progesterone before I got pregnant with my daughter (2013) because I had a cyst on my left ovary that had ruptured. My OB at the time told me that it can help or birth control could help. I opted for the progesterone though! :)

I'm on progesterone. It's to sustain your pregnancy. I'm not sure if it helps cysts or not
