Naming my son after grandfather...

I want to name my son after my grandfather that passed away. He was very Italian and his name was Orestra Nicholens but we always called him grandpa Nick. So I wanted a version of his name but can't decide on spelling. (The first 4 are pronounced nick-o-lie)
