I went to my OB/Gyn today for a follow up appointment. He had run some blood work and told me today I wasn't ovulating 😞. He said it probably was because I need to lose some weight and prescribed me clomid. He told me to take 100 mg starting on cycle day 5 for 5 days. I asked if we needed to monitor me or anything and he said just to come back in 3 months and we'll reevaluate if I'm not pregnant. I've heard you can only take clomid for a certain number of months so I called a fertility specialist and made an appointment for a 2nd opinion. Do you think I should get a 2nd opinion? Just don't want to waste cycles using clomid if there is something else going on. I'll also be 34 in 2 months so don't want to waste time either. Any advice for people who have taken clomid or who have been told they're not ovulating is welcome!! I'm just feeling confused and sad.
