Endometriosis and pregnancy

So I've suffered from this since I started. Very painful periods and pre menstrations. I was on the Depo shot at age 17, and now I'm 25. I got off of it this past Christmas and now I'm just on regular birth control. Sometimes the pain is bearable, but at times it is not. I would like to know if anyone has been in this situation, and if so, how long did it take, or does it take, when I finally decide to have children with the love of my life?
