HELLP syndrome???

Question

I'm having burning/ stabbing pain in my upper right abdomen. Skin is tender to touch too... I don't have high blood pressure and no protein in my urine so I don't think I would have pre eclampsia. But I came across reading about HELLP syndrome and it has me worried if I should call my doctor. The pain has been going on for a few weeks, I forgot to mention it to my doctor a few days ago. Has anyone experienced this? I'm 36 weeks 5 days..

I got blood results back for checking my liver and all came back good. Nurse just thinks my uterus is bruised from baby kicking same spot all the time

I had this problem under my right rib.. it is very uncomfortable and all I could do was cry.. OB said it was carpel tunnel around the rib area and that this is the second most common place to get it after your hands..

I too worried about HELLP but apparently the last symptom for anyone to get is the pain and that you will be very unwell before it happens.

Have them check your gallbladder! I had the same thing and I had to have mine out at 24 weeks!

I have the exact same thing. I've had it for six weeks now. So frustrating. I've had all the test done. You should def have your doctor check your liver and gallbladder to be safe. Luckily that looking pretty good for me.

I had the pain there for 5 days and my midwife told me it was baby's position. It went away the next day for me
