Delayed cord clamping thoughts?

Delayed cord clamping is waiting to clamp the cord until the placenta is birthed. Has anyone had this done? What are your thoughts on this?

Absolutely. Even delaying it 2 minutes makes a difference. All the blood in the placenta is the babies. I think most docs will for sure delay it a little if you ask. I'm not sure about all of them being on board until the placenta is birthed.

My doctor is super-pro delayed clamping and even recommends it. We delay clamping and will again :)

I've been reading on it and to me it seems the pros are very strong. I plan on discussing it with my midwife. I'm leaning towards it. Doesn't hurt mom and is better for baby, so I'm for it.
