How long did you ladies wait till you got engaged to your SO? ❤️💍

My husband proposed after 4 months. I said yes, but we both agreed to have a long engagement. He surprised me completely yhough, there was no deciding to get engaged! Lol we waited 2 ywars, had some incredible highs and some heart-wrnching lows, but the day before the wedding, I was just as sure as I had been two years prior.

We got engaged after 9 almost 10 years together and got married on our 14th year anniversary (high school sweet hearts). We've been together for 18 years and are still very much in love!

My husband and I dated for four years. We were engaged for 5 months. Have been married for a little over a year. The waiting on being engaged sucked after the first two years, but it was such a great opportunity to get all of the last few things that I needed to do on my own done. All of the time made us incredibly strong and very close. It really turned out we had a really craopy first year of marriage due to outside forces. We pushed through it all and I credit a lot of that due to how well we know each other and that time we spent feeling out what was best for our relationship.
