Chemical Pregnancy Question

Suzanne
Hi, All! I think I had a chemical pregnancy yesterday. We just started trying for our second baby this month (our son is 19 months). I felt SO pregnant (sore/heavy boobs, dizzy, hungry, stretching cramps, bloating and SO tired). I kept testing but it came back negative each time and I was getting so frustrated. Then, yesterday morning I got some brown spotting with cramping, which I thought was implantation bleeding and got excited. But, by yesterday afternoon, it turned to bright red blood and got heavy. All of the sudden, my symptoms started going away. I read that since it was so early, it was a chemical pregnancy, instead of a miscarriage. I really want to keep trying, but don't know if we should wait a month. Has anyone had success in getting pregnant right after a chemical pregnancy? Thanks and baby dust to you all!

No need to wait. I had a chemical 2 months ago and doc said it was fine to keep trying.

If you never got positive tests...it wasn't a chemical pregnancy. Even with the "symptoms" you were having. Pregnancy, PMS, and flu symptoms are all the same.

I agree with Stacy, it's called "symptom spotting". Really can influence your perception of things.

You can try whenever you want. I'm not saying you weren't, but having symptoms doesn't mean anything. Lots of ladies get unusual symptoms and end up not pregnant. I do every TWW.

Yes, but these were unusual symptoms for me and I've been pregnant before. The main question I was asking was if anyone knew whether you had to wait for a cycle or two after a chemical pregnancy.
