I worked in the NICU and one of things we hated more than anything were mums who didn't want their babies to use pacifiers i am a hugely against using it past 6months but i think as a comfort measure for a newborn it should be fine. I never quite understood the whole thing with nipple confusion and all that jazz . Did or do any of you mums not use a pacifier and did it make a difference?
