Sabrina • I have PCOS I want a child I will beat this
Hello I have PCOS' had it sense I was a teen had lots of problems with my period for years' I was pregnant once at a young age and I didn't have the baby... I'm now 38 about to be 39 yrs old' I found out I had PCOS when I was 30 yrs old' but I had it sense I was a teen' about 2 yrs ago I found out I had a small fibroid and at that time my periods were so abnormal I was on birth control for many years' I was on metformin not long because it made me very sick to my stomach' so I stopped the metformin 3 yrs ago and I stopped birth control almost 2 yrs ago sense I stopped the birth control my periods started to be come regular (strange) and over the first 6 months and I only skipped 2 or 3 periods sense I stopped them' as far as the fibroid I think it shrunk because my cycle are about 28 days apart my period is 5 days long and it's been extra regular! I'm happy about this and I did lose about 25 lbs' I'm sure this helped regulate my periods but I'm still not conceiving' so I'm going to have and HSG it's where they shot the dye into uterus and tubes to see if there blocked' I get this test done tomorrow and I'm a little nervous' just hoping to get good news that they are open! PCOS sucks!! But I'm very happy at the same time how my body has done a lot of healing on its on! Are there any other ladies who had the HSG test done? I heard a lot of stories about how the test helped unblocked tubes from the force of the dye going through the tubes" I haven't lost hope.
