I'm expecting twins! Don't know the sex yet! Should I buy two cribs or just one?

Talk to your doctor, and maybe a pediatrician, I would think that maybe one crib would be beneficial to the babies, since they've only known being together, sleeping next to each other would be comforting. Full size cribs are huge anyway, so there would be plenty of space.

They have crib dividers too. Just FYI,. Which can buy you some time before getting a 2nd one

I actually saw this adorable video on FB last night of twins who didn't realize they were born and the nurse (or mom) held them in a pool or sink of water as they just clung to each other. It was soooo adorable!! If I am indeed carrying twins like I think I am, I think I'll have them together for a while and then have their cribs side by side when they're a little older.

I have never put my son in a separate bed from me. I don't know. He is 22 months and will be sleeping with me and the baby. In my family, we unconditionally breastfeed. Sleeping with and wearing baby, and toddler keeps us aware of all queues so we can do it successfully until they choose to wean. Separating them from you? I don't know how I could sleep with my babies so far from me.....

If you have room and can afford 2, I say go ahead but i don't think it will be absolutely  necessary.

I was a nanny for twins and the mom said they shared the same crib until they started moving around. Then one would be on top of the other and it wasn't a great sleeping experience for anyone

My sister bought 2 but they shared until they were about a year old. Then she was happy she had 2. :)

Or you could bed share, much easier i think.  My 2 year old still sleeps in the same bed because he still nurses through the night.  And when baby #2 gets here, he/she will be in the bed also.
