When do I go to the doctor?

Just curious when I should book an appt with the doctor? Found out on Thursday I'm pregnant with baby # 1 and according to Glow I'm 4 weeks tomorrow!! Please help :) TIA

You might want to go ahead and call and make a appointment because most doctors don't have any opening for a month out. So if you make one now you should be around 8-9 weeks when you go.

I would call and make an appointment as soon as possible, they may not scheduled you til week 8 but at least you get in there when you are supposed to. They may have you come in and see an RN to get your history and do blood work. I waited to long to make mine and couldn't get scheduled til week 17 with my Dr. I did get a little upset with this and he was able to squeeze me in during week 8 for a quick visit. Had he not done that I could have missed my opportunity to get my genetic testing done, ( if you want to do that)

I called the day after I found put had my appointment 2 weeks later. My first ultrasound is tomorrow

You can call and ask whens the reccomended first prenatal visit. I cant recall if my Dr. said 8 or 9 weeks
