When do you plan to tell your immediate family that you are expecting?

Yesterday we announced it to my SO's parents! 5w5d. Telling my family this week ☺

Our appt is Thursday for an ultrasound. We wanted to see baby first and are using the ultrasound pic to get something made to announce it to our families. By the time they find out I'll be a little past 8 weeks.

We told my Mom, sister, best friend, his mom and best friend the day we found out at 3w6d.

We were waiting until I get confirmation from the doctor (appointment tomorrow) that I'm really actually pregnant... I'm having a hard time believing it, all the positives I've gotten are faint and there have been a couple negatives. Hubby has a really hard time not telling anyone, he's already told a friend of his and some people at work. I just hope he doesn't have to go back and un-tell them, I really want this baby. It's our first, mine and his and it's exciting to think that we're making a tiny human. If I'm not pregnant though I'm going to need someone to explain all the cramping and sore beats because this is just ridiculous lol

We have had several losses, one with complications, so trying to wait till we get past that point to tell parents because mine worry a lot.
