Nursery or no?

Question

First time mommy here and I was wondering how many of you do not decorate a nursery for the first several months with baby?

I loved decorating my little girls nursery before she arrived. She didn't use it at night as we moved house before she moved out of our room but it was beautiful, all her clothes organized, a quiet place to sit and feed, cuddle change her etc. not to mention you prob won't have time or energy to decorate ones baby arrives. 😴

The nursery was the biggest waste of money ever. She haven't even been there not even once.
We co slept with her,she slept on our bed,and then we moved her crib to our room and that's where she sleeps at now at at almost 7 months old.
We are already taking everything down and trying to turn it into a toddler room since we have a baby on the way..hopefully that's not a waste too.

I decorated before he was born to get it out of the way. I would do the same with the next one.

This is number three for us and have never had a nursery at all.

I did it with both of my kids.  For the first few weeks the baby sleeps in our room in a bassinet.  Once she started sleeping full night we moved her over to the nursery.

My daughter slept in our room in a bassinet until 4 months old. She was already sleeping 6 to 8 hours through the night by then so we decided to move her to her crib. Took a while for me to get over my nerves, got a camera monitor which was nice, but she did great. She loves her crib. Goes right down to sleep for naps and bed time

Thanks. My husband says our baby will sleep in our room for the first year (gasp!!) so he doesn't want to do a nursery. I love the idea of one and admit we'll need a separate room for the baby eventually but the first several weeks/months, the baby will sleep in our room right?
