Ovulation after AF

Is it possible to ovulate immediately after my period ? I had my period yesterday but I felt my cervix and It felt very high. I was still spotting. I also felt a bit of cramping by my ovaries which I usually feel when I am ovulating? Could this be so? Or is it my mind playing tricks on me ?
