Who did you tell at 5 weeks?

So far, only my husband knows. When are you planning to tell people? They say 10 weeks is a good time but it's so hard to keep this a secret!

We have told our immediate family. It's very hard not to shout it from the rooftops, though. It's a personal decision, my husband wants to share with everyone. I want to wait a little longer, past the more risky time. There is no right or wrong time to share, it's a blessing!! No one should be worried about sharing the information.

We haven't told anyone yet, but because my mother is a nurse-midwife, we'll likely tell her soon for some support. Hopeful as I am for a safe, healthy pregnancy, we won't do a public announcement until 12 weeks. Maybe immediate family at 8 or 9.

I told my parents, sister, best friend, and my grandparents... At 7weeks my great granny passed away (at 99 she was Amazing) and I attended the funeral with a little bump (mostly bloating due to this being my third baby)... At the luncheon after the service my Papa stands up and says "we all need some good news, this one (points to me as I'm sitting beside him) is going to make me a Papa again!" Well there goes the news, now my entire family, and extended family know.... I'm talking about cousins,  2nd cousins, aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles, people I've only met 1 in my entire life before and I was like are you serious? No denying it now, then my great aunt walks over to hug me with a big cup of coffee and I ran out crying... not because he told, but because coffee makes me nauseous so a few of them ran out after me and all got to see the puke show :(

My mom, his mom.... That's all we told until 2nd tri with our first as well. Just like to get past the scary stage... Starting to show earlier than last time though

We told our immediate family. We lost a baby in March after 4 years of trying so we told everyone! But this time around we are going to wait till at least 13 weeks. But it's up to how you feel. Prayers for a happy healthy 9 months!

We haven't told anyone. We are 7 +3 now! Waiting until after our first OB appt at 11 weeks. It's so hard!
