Will the world ever be free of RACISM??

Question

Racism is something that is on going and truthfully I don't think it'll ever end basically because, everyone is different and there will always be something to distinguish each race.

Teaching our children to be blind to race will not stop racism. Failing to acknowledge race will not stop racism. Racism is set of prejudices built into the fabric of our society as a whole. That makes it incredibly difficult to take down by itself because it's interwoven with other aspects of prejudice and oppression. Until we dismantle the entire overlapping powerset (The Kyriarchy), racism won't really go anywhere on its own. Does that mean we shouldn't call out and reevaluated ourselves on an individual scale and take steps to recognize and stop interpersonal racial prejudices from happening? No. We need to call these things out. We need to have an open and honest conversation about race and how it affects people on both the micro and macro scale. But before we can even get to that point, people as a general whole need to realize that it's not going to be a comfortable conversation but it needs to be had and not shut down or derailed.

No. As human beings we naturally meet what we don't understand with hostility.  And as long as there are diverse cultures and traditions there will be racism and prejudice.

Nope but teaching your kids the proper way to handle it goes a long way to help.

I think having biases is a protective feature humans have evolved to have. Everyone has internal biases against other groups. I think as individuals we can deconstruct, and work through those things. Humanity as a group, I think will always have unfair societal dynamics.

Working toward the eradication of racism (and other forms of discrimination) is still a worthy goal. I don't believe any society will ever attain egalitarian perfectionism, but we can certainly get closer to that ideal.

You can celebrate individuality and acknowledge race, without oppressing another's race. Like I can say Argentinian girls rock, and it does not at all mean that other races and other genders aren't swell.

Second of all, to end racism we have to do do something about the system. Racism is institutionalised. It's embedded in the structure of society. It's in the dictionary. Blah blah blah, now we can change it and give society a home make over of sorts... Or we can destroy the structure and rebuild it from scratch (which would allow us to address sexism, transphobia, homophobia, ect. as well).

Unfortunately no. There's always going to be people who feel they are superior to someone else simply because of skin color. I think we all, regardless of color, need to stop separating things based on color (history months, pageants, scholarships, etc).  There's always going to be racism cause there is always going to be evil people who hate.
